Why do your teams not fill in the CMMS?

An underused CMMS is expensive: missing data, lost knowledge. Here is why adoption stalls on the shop floor, and how to restart it without forcing it.

A CMMS that nobody fills in stays an empty shell. Jobs go untraced, the same faults come back, and the technicians' knowledge evaporates with every departure. The blockage is rarely the tool itself. Adoption on the shop floor is where it sticks, because data entry feels like a chore with nothing in return. The paradox is real: the plant pays for a licence and trains the teams, yet harvests a database in which nobody finds anything useful. The investment is made, the value stays dormant.

How can adoption be restarted without forcing it?
